Sightseekr Full License & Terms

This document is the comprehensive legal license covering all intellectual property and content owned or controlled by Sightseekr, including but not limited to:

Code, scripts, and software
Maps, geographic data, routes, and toolkit content
User interfaces, branding, logos, written content, and imagery
Concepts, logic, proprietary algorithms, and tools

It applies to all users, whether accessing via GitHub, a toolkit purchase, the website, or any other platform, online or offline.

1. Licensing Requirement

All use of Sightseekr content is strictly prohibited without a valid purchase. This includes personal, educational, nonprofit, research, or commercial use.

Access requires purchase through: www.sightseekr.co.uk or through official Sightseekr partners.

Any attempt to bypass these requirements constitutes copyright infringement under UK and international law.

2. Prohibited Activities

Without explicit paid and written permission, you may not:

Copy, embed, mirror, frame, screenshot, store, redistribute, or share any content
Use any part of the work for AI training, machine learning, vector embeddings, dataset creation, or algorithmic ingestion
Create derivative works, competitive products, or public demonstrations
Use content in research, academic papers, presentations, or public projects

All rights remain strictly reserved.

3. AI, Scraping, and Data Protection

Use of any content for AI training, knowledge graphs, recommendation engines, tokenization, vector embeddings, or automated extraction is explicitly prohibited.

This applies to all AI systems, including private, commercial, open-source, governmental, or nonprofit applications.

Attempted ingestion, scraping, or embedding of any content into AI or machine learning systems is considered unauthorized access and intellectual property theft.

4. Monitoring, Audit, & Retroactive Liability

Sightseekr reserves the right to:

Monitor, track, or technically fingerprint user access (IP addresses, usage behavior, device identifiers, browser metadata)
Audit users if unauthorized use is suspected
Require proof of deletion, written certification under penalty of perjury, or investigation through third-party platforms

Unauthorized use prior to detection does not grant any rights. Retroactive liability applies, and users may be responsible for damages, licensing fees, and legal costs.

5. Termination & Damages

Any unauthorized use immediately terminates all rights. Sightseekr may pursue:

Injunctions or court orders
Financial damages, including statutory penalties, licensing fees, and loss of revenue
Recovery of all investigative, legal, and enforcement costs
Permanent bans on access or licensing

Damages may be calculated based on commercial exploitation value, not just actual usage.

6. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

This license is governed exclusively by the laws of England and Wales.
All disputes shall be resolved in the courts of England and Wales.

Any Products are Non-refundable under the UK Consumer rights Act 2015.

7. Warranty Disclaimer

All content is provided “as is” without warranty.
Sightseekr is not liable for any outcomes resulting from access, attempted use, or failure to comply with this license.
